Officials hand over undocumented money to the Election Officer of Valparai Assembly constituency.
Coimbatore: Flying squad officer Krishnan and Head Constable Navaneetha Krishnan in Valparai assembly constituency area have been conducting stringent checks on cars and other vehicles to stop illegal gifts and cash distribution to the public by political parties.
During a sudden check near Vetaikaranpudur, the flying squad officials found Rs. 55,000 in cash from a car belonging to Ragavan (45) which did not have proper documentation.
Later, the officials handed over the money to the Election Officer of the Valparai Assembly Constituency.
