Coimbatore: The DMK candidate Coimbatore North constituency Vadavalli VM Shanmugasundaram was seen campaigning at the 10th, 11th, 44th and 45th wards of Saibaba Colony in Coimbatore yesterday.

Addressing the mass gathering, VM Shanmugasundaram requested the people to vote for the DMK party. He was visiting the wards in an open jeep. The women from the areas welcomed him with an 'arathi'.

Vadavalli VM Shanmugasundaram said, "I heard that Coimbatore North Constituency's AIADMK candidate had a leg injury. I wish him a speedy recovery." He also spoke about the need for people to vote for honest and responsible candidates. "The general public has complete power over the candidates. I and my wife have been involved in Municipality positions for the last 20 years. We have solved the people's issues by understanding them completely," he added.
