Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman promises to build District Medical College in Pollachi if AIADMK comes to power
Coimbatore: Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman, who is contesting as the AIADMK candidate from the Pollachi Assembly constituency, has been going door to door to meet the public and campaign for votes for the 'double leaf' symbol.
Today, he campaigned for votes in the 29th and 30th wards of the municipality in the areas of Annai Kasthuribai street, Kalaivanar street, Nehru Nagar. The women from the areas took 'Aarathi' and cheerfully welcomed him.
Along with AIADMK members, Pollachi Jayaraman distributed leaflets containing election manifestos and campaigned for votes under the 'double leaf' symbol. He told the reporters, "A hospital building with more than 400 beds is under construction. Work is underway to provide high-quality treatment, including heart surgery and kidney transplantation. A maternity ward with 200 beds is also underway, which will make the hospital a pioneer. The hospital will serve for providing high-quality treatments for complicated deliveries, postpartum, high blood pressure and respiratory problems in children. A district medical college will be built once we form the Pollachi district."
Pollachi Jayaraman also warned the public to not believe Prasanth Kishore's opinion poll. He said, "AIADMK will win in more than 200 constituencies."
He conveyed that due to the successful preventive measures taken during the Coronavirus period, people have been giving AIADMK overwhelming support for elections.
