Central Bank of India branch closed as employee tests positive for COVID-19


Coimbatore: Central Bank of India operates in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. Last week, two employees of the bank contracted a coronavirus infection. The bank was then closed for two days and two days later the bank reopened and two more employees were confirmed to have coronavirus infection.



The bank was closed again after four bank employees were affected by the coronavirus infection. Customers are advised to access the Central Bank of India branch at Avarampalayam and Kalapatti. It is to be noted that as the number of coronavirus infections in Coimbatore is increasing day by day, the government is urging the public to be careful.
