How is BJP keeping fuel and gas cylinder prices without rising because of the elections? - MP PR Natarajan campaigns in support DMK candidate Na Karthik

Rising fuel and gas cylinder prices alone are enough to bring down the AIADMK-BJP alliance: MP PR Natarajan speaks in support of DMK candidate N. Karthik

Coimbatore: MP PR Natarajan spoke in support of DMK candidate MLA Na Karthik who is contesting as the DMK candidate of the Mathasarbatra Murpokku Kootani in Coimbatore Singanallur constituency. He started his polling campaign on Sunday at Nandagopal Road in Siddapudur, Singanallur constituency. Speaking at the launch of the campaign, Coimbatore MP from the Marxist Communist Party said the ruling BJP government in the centre was raising petrol prices daily that has now reached Rs 100. Similarly the price of a gas cylinder is close to a Rs. 1000.

He accused them saying, "How can the Modi government has not announced price hikes for the past ten days due to the announcement of five state elections, including Tamil Nadu? Otherwise the price of petrol would have crossed 100 and the price of gas would have crossed 1000. The Modi government is among those who have little thought of the plight of working people. The AIADMK government is the slave of the BJP government. With no jobs, no income and no pay rises, these price hikes have subjected the poor, the simple and the middle class to great misery."

He added, "If they dare, justify this price hike and ask for votes. Working people must use this election carefully to overthrow the ten-year-old AIADMK government and teach a lesson to the BJP. DMK's election manifesto which gives effect to the Kalaignar's idea that we will do what they say and say what they do. The AIADMK must be ousted for these two great reasons: unemployment and rising prices."

He called on the working class to undertake such work. Earlier, DMK candidate N. Karthik campaigned around hundreds of BJP workers in various parts of the state, including Siddhapudur and Haripuram. The rally was attended by DMK, Congress, MDMK, CPI executives and Marxist Party Peelamedu city secretary K. Pandian.
