DMK candidate Varadarajan campaigns for votes in Anna Nagar, Pollachi
Coimbatore: Dr. Varadarajan, who is contesting for the Pollachi Assembly constituency on behalf of the DMK, went to the Pollachi Anna Nagar area and campaigned for votes today.
He campaigned in the 7th ward including in Anna Nagar, Indira Nagar and Mahalingapuram today. DMK Deputy City Secretary Karthik and DMK District Secretary Gugan Mill Senthil took to the streets with supporters to campaign for votes.
Then the women of the area gave a traditional welcome with 'Arathi' for Dr. Varadarajan. They handed out leaflets containing the DMK election manifesto and asked people to vote on the 'Rising Sun' symbol. Many DMK city members, including members of the coalition, are involved in the campaign.
