Coimbatore: Students from the Puliyakulam Government Arts and Science College in Coimbatore went as a procession today evening to create awareness regarding elections by urging the public to vote a 100% in the upcoming assembly elections in Tamilnadu.
Coimbatore District Collector Rajamani made a letter request to the students of the Puliyakulam Arts and Science College requesting their participation to gain 100% voters to vote in the upcoming assembly elections.
Accordingly over 300 students from the Puliyakulam Government Arts and Science College took part in a rally by holding placards to create an awareness regarding elections.
Students also distributed brochures and notices to the public urging them to vote during the elections. The rally was headed by Coimbatore Director for College Education Kalaiselvi and College Principal Marimuthu.
