Minister SP Velumani has shown an income tax statement of Rs 11 lakhs and his wife has paid a tax of rupees 9 lakhs in the year 2020. He has paid 70.79 lakhs IT in 2019 and 8 lakhs rupees in 2018.
In the affidavit filed by Minister SP Velumani, he said that he owns 80 grams gold, 1360 grams of gold (₹51 lakhs) under his wife's name, 2,030 grams of gold (₹81 lakhs) under his daughter Sarangi's name and 56 grams gold in his son's name.
