North Assembly constituency candidate Amman K Arjunan worships Vinayagar and visited each house to collect votes
Amidst huge fanfare, Vice President of Makkal Needhi Maiam and Singanallur candidate Dr. R.Mahendran today filed his nomination papers at the electoral office in Singanallur constituency.
Accompanied by his party cadres, VP of MNM filed his nomination papers at 12:30 PM to the electoral officer C. Ramkumar.
"People are watchful. They cannot be any further deceived by pages of manifestos", he told the media when questioned about the AIADMK manifesto released, recently.
Everytime ahead of elections, the ruling party try to garner the attention of the people by such manifestos and fake promises, Dr. Mahendran alleged.
He thanked the people for their overwhelming love and sought their support for his victory in Singanallur constituency.
Speaking with Simplicity, R.Mahendran said people want change and Makkal Needhi Maiam will be their choice. When questioned, if Kamal Haasan contesting in Coimbatore south is because of the electoral success of MNM in Coimbatore in 2019 Parliamentary elections, he said 'No. As told earlier, across all constituencies people are fed up with the corruption and lack of vision in any development policies. Still there are many wards in Coimbatore that lack basic amenities. MNM President Kamal Haasan clearly understands people's frustration and needs."
Meanwhile, MNM President Kamal Haasan will be filing his nomination for South constituency shortly and will commence his campaign from Thermutti in Raja Street.
