6 juveniles who escaped from Coimbatore observation home caught by police in Udumalai
Coimbatore: 6 juveniles who escaped from Coimbatore observation home caught by police in Udumalai. The Observation home in Coimbatore shelters juvenile criminals. The incident where 6 boys escaped from this home yesterday evening has caused shock. Police searched and recovered 6 boys near Udumalai at midnight and brought them to Coimbatore.
The children's home is located at the junction of Avinashi Road, Lakshmi Mill, Coimbatore. Boys involved in various criminal activities are kept in this home. Eleven boys were left out of the room to have their dinner last night. Out of them six boys attacked the warden and locked him in a room. They also locked the other five boys in another room and they escaped. The screams of those who were locked were not heard outside. Then, at 11pm, the warden broke down the room door and came out and informed the police.
They immediately set up a special team and searched for the boys who escaped. While searching the railway station and bus stands, six boys were found near Udumalai and were brought to Coimbatore by the police.
