Coimbatore: A case on ex MLA from DMK for accumulation of property was in session at the District Court in Coimbatore yesterday. As a part of the hearing, SP was asked to be present at the court and then the court was adjourned on him being absent.
Coimbatore District Ex DMK Secretary Palanisamy was a minister in the DMK government from 2006 - 2011. A case was filed against him for accumulating property worthed of rupees 44 lakhs during his tenure.
This case was then proceeded by the sessions court in Coimbatore. Then investigating officer and current SP of Kanchipuram Shanmugapriya was called to the court by the opposition party's lawyer.
But during the court's date, SP Shanmugapriya was not able to be present at the court due to election duty. Due to this the case was adjourned yesterday.
