MDMK to contest in Palladam under DMK symbol


Coimbatore: MDMK supremo VaiKo just now announced the list of constituencies that his party will contest in the upcoming Assembly Elections in Tamilnadu. The party is all set to contest in 6 constituencies under the Rising sun symbol of DMK.

Of these six, one is in the Coimbatore region. He announced that Palladamwill be contested by MDMK functionaries along with Sathur, Madurai South, Vasudevanallur, Madhuranthagam and Ariyalur. Some of these constituencies like Ariyalur have MDMK candidates who are strong and others like Coimbatore North have to be contested on the strength of the alliance.

He showed the signed document to the press and announced that the candidate names will be announced later.
