Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 510 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,39,648 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,073.
Among districts, Chennai led with 236 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 55 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 55,134 today, totalling to 1,79,55,850 getting examined till date.
