Coimbatore: In a shocking incident 6 youths were seen riding on 1 motorcycle today evening on the Coimbatore - Sathyamangalam road, in Coimbatore.
The 6 guys were seen riding on one bike from Siva Hospital to Saravanampatti, Coimbatore.
Public who witnessed this incident and people who were commuting on the road took a video recording of this bizarre incident and sent them to the Traffic Police Officials.
Since the vehicle registration number was clearly registered in the video cliping, under the orders of Mutharasu, Assistant Commissioner of Transport Police officials followed the CCTV footage and caught the traffic violators.
Charges were filed against the 6 members under various sections including violating road traffic rules, driving the bike under the influence of alcohol and increased number of people travelling on a motorcycle. Later their bikes were seized by the cops.
This incident created panic in the area.
