A model election took place near the Government Hospital in Coimbatore to create awareness among the public ahead state assembly elections.
Since the announcement of election date in Tamilnadu, election commission authorities along with district officials are actively involved in creating awareness among the public.
As a part of raising awareness regarding the upcoming election, Officials from the election commission conducted model election procedure in many areas across Coimbatore.
As a part of that, the model election was conducted at the Bus Stand in front of the Coimbatore Government Hospital today.
During the awareness campaign, Officials demonstrated to the public regarding the procedure to submit the documents, how to vote and how to confirm that their vote has been registered.
The officials also demonstrated on how to vote for the first time voters. Many public participated in this awareness campaign organised by the election commission in Coimbatore.
