Immediate action in case of liquor smuggling: District Collector Rajamani warns



Coimbatore: District Collector Rajamani warns of immediate action in case of liquor smuggling. He has said that the Election Control Room may be notified if bottles of liquor are smuggled in bulk during this period when the election rules are in effect.

Collector Rajamani said according to the Code of Conduct for Elections, if liquor is smuggled against the Rules of Conduct, it may be brought to the attention of Tasmac managers. He said for complaints Assistant Manager can be contacted at the Accounts Officer (Coimbatore North), 97881 77068, Coimbatore South 93441 21629 and also a flying squad has also been appointed and complaints will be acted upon immediately.
