30 industries to start infrastructure work at Codissia Industrial Park Limited (CIPL)

Post pandemic outbreak the works inside the industrial park have geared up, as a result of which 30 industries would soon begin their construction works.



Coimbatore: The dream project of industrialists is establishing one of the largest private industrial park, CODISSIA Industrial Park Limited - CIPL. It has gained momentum since one industry started functioning, more than five industries are nearing the final stage of the infrastructure work and 30 industries to start their construction work soon at Mopperipalyam and Kallapalayam.

As the industrial city limit is getting expanded on all the four sides. Considering the future growth of the industry sector, before 11 years industrialists jointly decided to establish a biggest private industrial estate in the name Codissia Industrial Park Limited (CIPL).

Totally 340 acres of land were purchased at two different places on the outskirts of the city namely Mopperipalayam and Kallapalayam. 300 industrialists have made their investments. During 2019, February 6th Chief minister of Tamilnadu, Edappadi K Palanisamy officially inaugurated the industrial park.

Codissia Industrial Park Limited (CIPL) Director, R Ramamurthy said, "Post pandemic outbreak we have started to see some positive signs in the industry sector. The construction works which were stalled earlier due to lockdown restrictions have now geared up in full speed. At present one industry has started functioning at Kallapalayam, 3 industries are nearing the final stage of construction and 15 industries will start their construction works within two months.

At Mopperipalyam 2 industries are nearing the final stage in construction. 15 industries will start their construction works in two months.

We really thank Tamil Nadu government. Starting from Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy, Minister SP Velumani and all other ministers and government officials for providing the needy help to the efforts of Industrialists. We are confident that within one year more than 50 industries would start functioning which would directly and indirectly provide employment opportunities to many people."
