Coimbatore: .A power loom worker was stabbed to death near Coimbatore.
Karumathampatti police have registered a case and are investigating. A man who was walking in the Tasmac area near the Ramamatchipalayam in the Karumathampatti taluk of the Coimbatore district found the dead body of a man who was stabbed this morning and informed the Karumathampatti police.
Police went to the scene and seized the body. Investigations revealed that his name was Senthil (age 40) and that he was working as a laborer in a power loom factory in Karumathampatti area. They enquired why this murder took place and whether it was because of enimity or a illegal love affair. Police sent the body to Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy. The incident has caused a stir there in the early hours of the morning.
