Action should be taken against the officers who assisted in land grabbing through forged documents: Victim woman petitions corporation commissioner.

Coimbatore: Victim woman petitions corporation commissioner to take action against the officers who assisted in land grabbing through forged documents.

Linga Devi, daughter of Kalyana Sundaralingam of Idayar Road, Coimbatore, has filed a petition with the Coimbatore District Collector and the City Police Commissioner saying that her father Kalyana Sundaralingam (74) and brothers bought 3 3/4 cent of the land on Karuppannakavunder Road in 1986, 2001 and 2002.

She stated, "In 2003, Selvamani came to our place with some fake documents and got into a dispute. He went to our place at Survey No. 296 and settled in a house by threatening using goondas and claiming that he had documents with survey number 295."

She alleged that they did it with police and corporation officials support. She added, "My father sued them and as the case was pending in court, Selvamani transferred the house tax and electricity connections to his name. The 2018 documents were transferred back to our name after we complained to the authorities again with the original documents. They gave a fake document to the bond office and changed the title to his name in the year 2020. With this document, Selvamani has given three fake deeds to her son Anandaraj in the name of 'Dhana Settlement' in January 2021.
