Around 5 lakh people will participate at the PM's meeting in Coimbatore - BJP National Women's Wing President Vanathi Srinivasan

BJP Women's Wing members in Coimbatore organised a two wheeler procession today to welcome Prime Minister Modi.



Coimbatore: PM Narendra Modi is visiting Coimbatore on 25th February and is expected to address a huge gathering in the city.

As a part of the tour in Coimbatore, Prime Minister Modi will take part in a event organised at the CODISSIA grounds and is expected to inaugurate various government projects.



BJP Women's Wing members in Coimbatore organised a two wheeler rally today to welcome Prime Minister Modi.



This two wheeler procession in Coimbatore began at the Puliyakulam Vinayakar Temple and ended at the Kottai Eshwaran Temple in Townhall area covering areas like Lakshmi Mills Junction, Gandhipuram, Sivanandha Colony and Saibaba Colony on their way.



Around 63 women from BJP on their bikes took part in this procession which was inaugurated by BJP's National Women's Wing President Vanathi Srinivasan.

BJP's National Women's Wing President Vanathi Srinivasan addressed the media during the event and stated that " The women's two wheeler procession was focused on welcoming our Prime Minister to Coimbatore and is also to encourage women participants. The meeting in Coimbatore is PM Modi's first campaign ahead of the assembly elections in Tamilnadu which will be attended by 5 lakh people from Salem to The Nilgiris."

Vanathi Srinivasan then said that "A separate area has been set-up for women audience and we have seen a lot of young women who want to participate in such meetings which is healthy."

She also said that a discussion has been made with the police officials to organize the meeting in a way which enables people to reach the stage easily unlike last time.

BJP National Women's Wing President Vanathi Srinivasan then said that "We have pre-planned the event completely with separate seatings arrangements for farmers, social leaders and others to enable a smooth event."
