Officer commits suicide by tying leg and hand: Frustration over not being able to find a bride
Coimbatore: Sundarraj, 29, of Varappalayam, Namakkal district, was working as an officer in a private bank in Coimbatore's RS Puram area. The door was not opened in his home for a long time yesterday and when the neighbors broke down the door and looked inside, he was found dead with his legs tied and his hands tied around his neck.
Saravanampatti police were informed about this and they rushed to the scene and investigated. Investigation revealed he was constantly upset that he was not getting married and that may have been the reason for his suicide. Saravanampatti police have filed a case and are investigating if he was killed or if he committed suicide. The incident has caused a stir in the area.
