DMK announces protest against AIADMK and BJP government for rising petrol, diesel and gas


Coimbatore: DMK announces a massive protest in front of the Coimbatore South Taluk Office on 22.02.2021, condemning the BJP and AIADMK governments for raising petrol, diesel and gas prices and urging them to reduce prices immediately.

Coimbatore East District Officer N. Karthik MLA, Coimbatore North District Officer C. R. Ramachandran has given the announcement in a statement issued on 17.02.2021, the President of the Association said, “The AIADMK has not commented on the rise of petrol, diesel and cooking gas prices. They demanded immediate abolition of excise duty and reduction of prices. Protests will be held in all district capitals on behalf of the DMK, urging the government to step in to alleviate people's suffering."

At their request, the union leader condemned the BJP and AIADMK governments for raising petrol, diesel and gas prices; A massive protest is scheduled to take place on Monday 22.02.2021 at 10.00 am in front of the Coimbatore South Governor's Office, Coimbatore Bailiff East, Coimbatore North District DMK, demanding immediate reduction of prices.

The protest was organized by the Coimbatore East, Coimbatore North District, responsible committee members, headquarters executives, chief executive committee, general committee members, city council, regional, union, city council, all district team organizers, vice organizers, party senior leaders, all party executives. They invited activists and members of the public and social activists to participate in large numbers.
