Coimbatore: Call taxi drivers on a one-day strike in Tirupur in protest of petrol and diesel price hike. In Tamil Nadu, the price of petrol and diesel is increasing day by day, which is causing great inconvenience to the public and motorists. As part of this, Tirupur taxi owners and drivers are participating in a one-day strike todayon behalf of the Welfare Association. According to taxi owners and drivers, petrol and diesel prices are increasing day by day in Tamil Nadu.



They accused that the government has not taken any action to reduce the price of petrol and diesel so demanded that the government should take action to control the price of petrol and diesel. More than 500 taxi drivers in Tirupur todaywent on a one-day strike, demanding that the government take action to reduce the raised prices. They also demanded that the government provide a quick solution to the problem.
