Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 462 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,29,850 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 4,192.
Among districts, Chennai led with 147 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 38 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 52,350 today, totalling to 1,69,16,170 getting examined till date.
