DMK will not question the publicity stunts of AIADMK but will question when people's tax money is wasted - DMK MP Kanimozhi in Tirupur

Tirupur: DMK Women's Wing Secretary and Tuticorin MP Kanimozhi has been campaigning across Tirupur for the last two days under the "Vidiyalai Noki Stalinin Kural" election campaign. TodayMP Kanimozhi met with journalists at a private hotel in Amarjothi, Tirupur.

During the press meet MP Kanimozhi said that "Tirupur which is a main attraction for FDI investments does not even have basic amenities. Handloom and textile industries in Tirupur have not recovered from GST and Covid-19 pandemic, and no help has been given to them from the state and central government."

She then said that "AIADMK has not done much to the public but is actively involved in advertising them. DMK has no opinion to the publicity students of AIADMK but please don't do it with people's taxes."

DMK MP Kanimozhi then said that " DMK has never been a slave for any party and has the guts to come out of an alliance if their policies don't match."

She then requested the chief minister to answer why he signed the Udhai Electricity Plan? And asked him to explain the same to people like he explained the free electricity plan to farmers.
