Women Skill Development Centre inaugurated to up skill underprivileged women, disabled and transgenders in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Ladies Circle India Area 7 along with Dharani Pumps & Motors, Exhale Fans and Chandran's Yuva Foundation inaugurated a Skill Development Centre on recently to up skill the underprivileged women, disabled, transgenders etc., to enable them to get an employment or set up a business on their own and earn a livelihood.
In a press release issued by the Ladies Circle India- Area 7, Coimbatore, "Ladies circle is a non- profit organisation which is involved in many activities like medical camps, infrastructure developments at Govt schools, providing artificial limb, Education assistance, free medical surgery, rainwater harvesting programs, green planting programs, career development. In the continuous service-oriented activities, we had a plan to have an exclusive skill development centre and inaugurated in Coimbatore to train the under privileged people.
The centre was inaugurated by Mr.Dharani & Mr.Vidhyadharan, managing partners of Dharani Pumps & Motors & Exhale Fans, Cr.Shalaka Vora -Area 7 Chairperson , Cr.Nidhi Karnani -National President, Tr.Pradeep Rajappa -Area 7 Chairman , Cr.Nidhi Gupta - Immediate Past President, Cr.Rohini Christopher, National Treasurer, Cr.Kavitha Janarthanan - Area 7 Secretary Treasurer, Cr.Aishwarya Guptha - Area 7 CSR Convenor, Cr.Meghna Khona - Area 7 Project Convenor and Ms.Shashikala, Chairman, Chandran's Yuva Foundation. We expect an average of 1200 people getting trained at their centre in Coimbatore."

This is a centre for all under-privileged people. All men, women, transgender, differently abled people will be part of this centre getting trained by the experts. Skill centre will train the people in the field of stitching, tailoring, baking, computer training program, spoken English etc. and make them ready to start a career with a start-up or job."
