Central Government should have a debate in the parliament about the new educational laws before implementation - Coimbatore MP PR Natarajan in Parliament

Coimbatore MP PR Natrajan issued a statement about the new educational reform by the Central Government.

Coimbatore: Coimbatore MP PR Natarajan had taken the floor during the current parliamentary session. While speaking in the parliament he had stated that "I condemn the central government which decided the new education scheme which is biased. I also condemn the name change of the government's Human Resources Department.

Education is in the general list in the constitution of India. With the Central Government making sudden changes in the education system which is completely biased, it gets the wrath of other states and completely violates the Constitution of India.

Such new reforms must be debated in the parliament. The Central Government earlier promised that discussions will be done regarding the new education scheme and also said that the MP's can voice their opinion at that time. But the parliament has been completely sided.

Opinions on the new education scheme were requested from pioneers in the field of education, students and other eminent personalities but the opinions from them were not considered by the Central Government.

Such biased educational schemes from the government will have a huge impact on centralization, commercialization and communication demands, which will destroy the educational system in the country.

Hence I strongly condemn the Central Government's new terminology in education. I request them to have a discussion and debate in the parliament before proceeding further."
