Coimbatore: Coimbatore Zone members of the Tamilnadu Government Transport Corporation Workers Union and members of PF union took part in a protest that happened at the Tamilnadu Government Transport Corporation office in Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore.
Members who took part in the protest said that "we are urging the state government to initiate the 14th meeting for the increment of salaries. Workers who joined the department after 2003 must be given a pension scheme which was given before that. Benefits and Medical Insurance should be given to the retired employees must be given immediately."
