MMK leader M. H. Jawahirullah in a press release urged the police department to initiate immediate action against Sangh Parivar organization member Kalyana Raman for his degogatory comments on Prophet Mohammad.

Coimbatore:

Manithaneya Makkal Katchi leader M. H. Jawahirullah in a press release requested the police department officials to take immediate action against BJP functionary Kalyanaraman for derogatory comments on Islamic Leader Prophet Muhammad.

In the press release by the party leaderit was stated that " Kalyana Raman was arrested multiple times in the past for his hate comments on Islam. But even after his release, he continues to do the same.

During a meeting organised by BJP in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore yesterday, Kalyana Raman insulted our beloved Prophet which has affected the religious sentiments of muslims and people from other religions who live in unity.

With the assembly elections around, we sincerely doubt that Kalyana Raman is trying to bring up communal violence through his hateful speechesabout Islam.

Further M. H. Jawahirullah stated that "Taking into consideration the peace and harmony, police must take serious actions regarding Kalyana Raman and must book him under the National Security Act for his peace disrupting behaviour."
