Rare owl enters a residential area, saved by a school student in Pollachi

Coimbatore: Harihara Priyan, a 10th standard student hails from Angalakuruchi village near Pollachi, Coimbatore. He is an environmental and wildlife activist from a very young age.

Meanwhile, todaya rare type owl entered Angalakuruchi village and was struggling for a place to settle as it was stuck at a residential area.



On hearing information about this, Hariharan went to the location and safely recovered the rare owl and surrendered it to the forest officials.

Post this incident forest officials let the rare type of owl back into the forest area. Congratulations are in order to the school boy for responsibly safeguarding the owl.
