Makkal in Mini Mall with Badagas cuisine restaurant inaugurated in Coimbatore

AMP Mall India and Thangam Chambers of Coimbatore inaugurated "Makkal in Mini Mall '' on Mettupalayam road in Cheran Nagar near Kauvandampalayam.


Coimbatore: AMP Mall India and Thangam Chambers of Coimbatore inaugurated "Makkal in Mini Mall'' on Mettupalayam road in Cheran Nagar near Kavundampalayam.

This mall has an exclusive “Badagas restaurant” for the first time in the venue of a mall anywhere in India.

Rajesh, Chief Executive Officer, AMP Mall India, and Thangavelu, Managing Director, Thangam Chambers while addressing the press said, “Makkal in Mini Mall is spread across 60,000 square feet with 6 floors. The mall has 20 plus shops and in future we have ideas to expand the stalls.

The Mall has an exclusive vehicle parking for about 100 vehicles. As a value-added service, the management of the mall decided to have a free car parking system for the vehicles for one year."

"Various stalls including food courts, apparel shops and home textiles, fashion jewellery, accessories, gift shops, toy shops, homemade chocolate shops and entertainment area with events and party hosting facility along with a wedding hall is set-up in this 2 floored mini mall.

This mall will be a good recreation venue for the residents of Kavundampalayam, Nallpalayalam, Mettupalayam road and Thudiyalur as this is the first mall to come on Mettupalayam road in Coimbatore."

"Our team's primary responsibility is to bring good value for money brands/Products and food in our Makkal in Mini Mall. Our future projects are at Kovaipudur and Saravanampatti which are planned to be completed by the end of this year. We will have a total of more than 75000 square feet of retail space spread across Coimbatore which will be creating job opportunities for more people directly and indirectly."He said.

Speaking about the Badagas restaurant, Rajesh Keerthi, Chief Executive Officer, AMP Mall India said, "Avaray with Gaasu Udhakka (Beans with Potato Curry) is healthy and the tasty Badaga hittu (meal), Thuppadittu and evergreen Ooty Tea will be available and served in the mall. The first floor is a unique set up for a food court, which will have all types of foods like Agra based chat items, Chettinad non- veg dishes, traditional Tamilnadu dishes, Chinese food restaurants, ice-cream parlours, beverages etc. But the speciality of this mall is that the food is available at anaffordable cost." He said.
