Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian conducted a meeting today to discuss the ongoing drinking water supply projects in the city.
During the meeting Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian enquired about the various ongoing projects across the district of Coimbatore.
He then said that permission from higher authorities should be asked before beginning with new works like drinking water supply connections, road lay works and other corporation workers like drainage connections.
Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian also ordered the corporationofficials to level the roads which were dug up by the corporation for various development works.
He then ordered the corporation officials to quickly finish the drinking water supply project pipeline works in RS Puram.
Assistant Corporation Commissioner Madhuranthagi, Executive Engineer Parvathy, Planning committee head Gopalakrishnan, engineers and other assistant executive engineers were present during the meeting.
