Pollachi Sexual assault case: Why has Stalin who claims to have more evidence not submitted them to CBCID? questions Pollachi Jayaraman
Pollachi: Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman criticised DMK President MK Stalin for using "Vel" as an election stunt to gain votes. Stalin's tricks to lure people will not fetch him votes, he said.
Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Pollachi West Bypass, a 9 km two lane stretch between Achipatti, R. Ponnapuram to Zameen Uthukkuli at a cost of Rs. 50.30 crore.
Addressing the media, the Deputy Speaker mocked MK Stalin for using Vel as a tactic to gain votes. He said lord Muruga will not help him win the elections.
"MK Stalin and his aides who are knownfor mocking Hindu gods amd their religious practices have now turned pious by posing with "Vel" (Lord Muruga's Spear) to gain votes. Stalin is perturbed by seeing millions of people throng the campaign sites of CM Edappadi which is a sign of AIADMK's astounding victory in the upcoming state assembly elections", he said.
"Perhaps, DMK's past campaign 'Namakku Naame' is in very much sync with Stalin who does everything only for his family. Stalin's CM dream will never come true", he asserted.
Accusing Stalin of false allegations in the Pollachi sexual assualt case, Pollachi Jayaraman questioned as to why Stalin who claims to have video and several other evidence pertaining to the incident has not submitted them to the CBCID?
"Until recently, DMK did not stand up for justice in the case. But with elections nearing, Stalin is misleading the people by claiming that over 250 women and young girls were victims of the case. His baseless allegations is devastating the lives of many unmarried girls in the region, as families hesitate to marry them suspecting, if they too would be a victim. Their dignity is at stake", he slammed.
He also questioned as to why Stalin did not speak about the Pollachi sexual assualt issue in the assembly? Atleast, will Stalin question this in the coming legislative session? or will he continue his false allegations for political gains?, the Deputy Speaker questioned.
