Coimbatore: Tirupur District Collector presented flowers to those wearing helmets and face masks on Road Safety Month.
The 32nd Road Safety Month is being observed from today to February 17 on behalf of the Regional Transport Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu. As part of this, an awareness program was organized on Avinashi Road today on behalf of the Tirupur Regional Transport Office.
District Collector Vijayakarthikeyan inaugurated the Road Safety Month. District Collector Vijayakarthikeyan presentedthe motorcyclists wearing helmets and face masks on Avinashi Road with flowers. He also distributed awareness leaflets urging the public to abide by the road safety rules.
