COVID 19: Tamil Nadu posts 775 recoveries to 610 new case

Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Saturday recorded 610 fresh COVID-19 cases and 6 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 8,30,183 and toll to 12,257.


Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Saturday recorded 610 fresh COVID-19 cases and 6 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 8,30,183 and toll to 12,257.

Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 775 patients getting cured aggregating to 8,11,798 till date, the State health department bulletin said.

Active cases stood at 6,128.

Among districts, Chennai led with 176 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 80 cases.

Testing of samples stood at 52,307 today, totalling to 1,51,77,094 getting examined till date.
