Paiya Gounder provided welfare assistance to 1,200 people on behalf of DMK
Coimbatore: Paiya Krishnan provided welfare assistance to 1,200 people on behalf of DMK in Vaiyapuri in Kovilpalayam panchayat. A Pongal ceremony and welfare assistance program was held at SS Kulam Coimbatore West, Vaiyapuri in Kovilpalayam Town Panchayat. This was led by Vaiyapuri Nagar Arokiya John and S. S. Kulam Union Secretary Suresh Kumar.
The function was presided by Paiyya Krishnan, District Magistrate, Coimbatore, who distributed welfare assistance including rice to 1,200 families. The event was attended by District General Committee members Mani alias Vijayakumar, Subbaiyan, Perur Secretary Surendran, Panchayat Council Chairman Raju Palanisamy, Area Secretaries District Union Perur co-ordibnators, Deputy coordinators and many others.
