Big rocks roll on to Manjur to Ooty Road - govt officials working hard to clear the road

Local Administration Officers and Highway Department Officials are clearing the roads for traffic with the help of JCB machines.


The Nilgiris: People in Manjoor, Nilgiris have been experiencing continuous rains and strong winter climate for the last 10 days.



A huge rock roll along with soil in the area rolled down from the hills on to the road from Manjoor to Kinnakorai. This has caused damage to the road connecting 8 villages.



Area locals reported about this incident to the government officials, who are now involved in clearing the places affected by the landslide.
