Minister SP Velumani amazes crowd performing with a Silambam

Minister SP Velumani was the guest of honour at a pongal event amazed people by doing Silambam.


Coimbatore:bPublic of Kuniyamuthur area in Thondamuthur legislative constituency joined together to celebrate the pongal festival at the Draupadi Amman Temple premises.

During the event, hundreds of women took part and made individual pongals at the temple premises. Meanwhile, Silambam and music competitions were conducted for school going children in the area.

Tamilnadu Rural Development Minister SP Velumani who won from the Thondamuthur legislative constituency was the chief guest for the event. He congratulated the women at the pongal event for their active participation.



Minister SP Velumani who congratulated the children who took part in various Tamil traditional arts and cultural activities also performed with theSilambam activity (Tamil traditional martial art) and amazed the crowd gathered there.
