Let Peace, Unity and Health prosper - Minister SP Velumani greets people on Pongal
Coimbatore: Conveying his warm greetings to the Tamil people on the auspicious day of Pongal, Minister SP Velumani in his social media message has wished the people to be blessed abundantly with good health, peace, unity and prosperity.
He also wished the Deputy Chief Minister and Party Coordinator O. Paneer Selvam on his birthday today, and lauded him as a great leader and loyal follower of late CM MGR and Jayalalithaa.
Meanwhile, in his festive message, Tamil Nadu CM Edapadi Palaniswami said, “Let farming prosper and farmers be happy this Pongal festival. Let love and peace prevail in everyone’s life.”
The CM also recalled the welfare schemes implemented for the welfare of the farmers. He added that his government has always prioritised theinterest of farmers and initiated proactive steps ahead of natural calamities, the Chief Minister said.
