Remembering Swami Vivekananda on his 158th birthday, members of Vivekanandar Arts and Narpani Mandram in Jyothi Nagar, Pollachi paid their respects to the photo of their beloved leader.
Event organisers planned a photo exhibition on Swami Vivekananda and also initiated a tree planting ceremony in the Jyothi Nagar children's park.
Pollachi Municipality Commissioner was the chief guest at this event. He inaugurated the photo exhibition and addressed the gathering about the life teachings by Swami Vivekananda.
Locals from small children to elders visited the historic photo exhibition which was an eye opener about the life of Swami Vivekananda.
