Last month, unidentified men broke into the wall of his cell phone shop and robbed cell phones. Rajkumar lodged a complaint at the Sulur police station. Police have registered a case and are searching for the robbers.
Yasser Arafat, 30, son of Hameed, of Kuniyamuthur area, was arrested by the police during vehicle inspection in Kangeyam, Sulur yesterday morning. As he gave contradictory statements he was taken to the police station and interrogated. He admitted to robbing a cell phone shop in Sulur last month. Following this, the police arrested him and confiscated 35 cell phones from him.
