Coimbatore: SFI protests in Coimbatore demanding reopening of schools and colleges. SFI staged a protest this morning in front of the BSNL office near the Coimbatore District Collectorate. The protest was led by Dinesh, the district chairman of the organization.
During the protest they claimed that students' education was affected as schools and colleges were closed for more than 11 months due to the coronavirus. Thus, child labor has increased and therefore urged that the government should take action to open schools and colleges.
More than 20 people attended the protest.
