Senthil Kumar who went to sleep as usual yesterday night woke up at 2.00 AM midnight after hearing the sound of a tree falling down.
As he rushed outside his house, Senthil Kumar saw two unidentified men chopping his sandalwood tree. He then started yelling for help and informed police. But the two men escaped with 5 feet height of sandalwood before help arrived at Senthil Kumar's house.
Singanallur police officials have filed a case regarding this incident and are on the search for the men who stole the sandalwood.
