Man convinces the 11std girl that he is in love and takes her away to sexually assault her.
Coimbatore: A 17 year old girl from Selvapuram was reported missing by her parents a few days back.
During police investigation it was found that the girl recieved multiple phone calls from a driver named Shanmugam (30) and another man named Sidhambarathai Ezhumalai (29).
Meanwhile the police officials found the girl near Vellankanni and brought her back home. Police officials then found out that the two men had kidnapped and cheated the 17-year old and then sexually assaulted her.
Following this the cops arrested the two men who then confessed to taking the girl to places like Ooty and Trichy and to have sexually assaulted the girl.
Later Selvapuram police officials filed a case on the two under POCSO act and then produced them at the POCSO special court which sentenced them to the central prison.
