Police officials recover 4 dead bodies from the same family of migrant workers in Nilgiris!

Police officials recovered bodies of 4 people and have sent it to the Coonoor government hospital for autopsy.


The Nilgiris: Ashok Bagath (27) a migrant worker from Jharkhand lives in Kollakambai area in Nilgiris.

Neighbours complained at the police station about Ashok Bagath as his house remained shut during the last few days.

Police officials who arrived at the location immediately entered via the back door which was left open. Police officials then found Ashok Bagath's wife Sumathi Kumari (24) dead with a cut on her neck. She was also found with a letter written by Ashok Bagath on her.

In the letter Ashok Bagath said that a young girl named Preethi Kumari who belonged to their area went missing a couple of days back. He then said that after the girl went missing his neighbours were suspecting Ashok Bagath regarding the girl missing incident.

Ashok Bagath in his letter said that he and his family members have commited suicide after being depressed by constant suspicion by neighbours.

Post this police officials found Ashok Bagath's daughter Reshma (4) dead inside a water tub with injuries to her head.

Later the police officials found Ashok Bagath dead at the house of his neighbour Kalanjiyam who had left the town. Cops also found Abey (8) son of Ashok Bhagat dead in the same room with blood on his nose



Police officials have now recovered 4 bodies from the same family and have sent them to Coonoor government hospital for autopsy and have started their investigation regarding this tragic incident.
