Police officials then took Suresh Kumar's body for autopsy. The Periyanaickenpalayam police department has now filed a case regarding this incident and are conducting their investigation.
Coimbatore: Ganesan, was from Andal Nagar near Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore. Ganesan was the Deputy Panchayat head of Vellamadai and a member of DMK party.
His wife Tulasimani (38) was running a poultry shop in the locality. There was Suresh Kumar (25) who was working at the poultry shop along with Tulasimani.
Suresh Kumar who often saw Ganesan drinking alcohol with his friends at the shop reported it to Tulasimani. This caused friction between Ganesan and his wife Tulasimani.
Meanwhile Ganesan found that it was Suresh Kumar who was telling Tulasimani about his drinking problem. Angered by this incident Ganesan fired Suresh Kumar. Tulasimani and Ganesan again fought over this incident and Tulasimani went to live at her father's house in Periyamathampalayam.
Suresh Kumar who was depressed about losing his job, visited Tulasimani at her father's house late in the night after consuming heavy alcohol. This led to an argument between Suresh Kumar and Tulasimani and Nagaraj, Tulasimani's father tried to put an end to it.
Suresh Kumar who couldn't control his anger took the hidden knife he had and attacked Nagarajan. Tulasimani who tried helping her dad was also attacked severely by Suresh Kumar. Tulasimani and her father Nagaraj then attacked Suresh Kumar with a stone and killed him who was drunk during this incident.
Neighbours who witnessed this incident informed the police department about this. Police Inspector Prithviraj and other policemen arrived at the scene immediately. Police officials then admitted Nagaraj and Tulasimani at the Coimbatore government hospital who are now under critical treatment.
