Tirupur: Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy went to Tirupur yesterdayon his way from Coimbatore to Salem. Edappadi Palanisamy was given a grand welcome by the members of the Tirupur AIADMK party.

After that Chief Minister Edappadi spoke at an event where he said that AIADMK will definitely win the 2021 elections with the mass support of the people.

Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy also asked the people present there to vote for AIADMK to bring back puratchi thalaivar's rule again.

During his address he also spoke about the 1652 crore Athikadavu - Avinashi project which is under process and the first stage of the project will be completed and inaugurated by me by March. He also said that AIADMK still rules under the guidance of Puratchi Thalaivi Amma and that every plan that was promised to the people will be completed by us.

He further said that AIADMK government has completed various projects in Tirupur like building a medical college and hospital for better treatment for the poor and opening of 2000 Amma mini clinics across Tamilnadu. Chief Minister Edappadi said that Rural areas are set with two mini clinics and drinking water facility is done at 10 panchayats along with good roads.

71 crore Annur - Mettupalayam joint drinking water scheme, increased the standard of Vet clinics at every panchayat. He also said that the AIADMK government has developed the Perumanallur government school into two higher secondary school with a special girls only school. Tirupur has also been allocated a budget of ₹992 crore for the city to be developed into a smart city.

Further during his address Chief Minister Edappadi spoke about the 900 crore bridge that is being constructed from Pushpa Theatre to Pandian Nagar. He also spoke about the addition of 100 beds at the ESI hospital at an expense of ₹75 crore which creates better treatment for everyone. So far 18 pond's have been cleaned and 4000 houses have been built at an estimate of ₹2.10 crore by the slum clearance board. The slum clearance board has also built 2250 apartments at Neruperichal.

Chief Minister also mentioned “the ongoing underground sewage scheme plans in Tirupur. The opposition leader MK Stalin in his recent speech compared me a farmer with a rowdy. I strongly condemn comparing a farmer with a rowdy and talking ill about the farmer community.”

He further said that the reason “MK Stalin gets angry when someone talks about farmers is because the DMK government shot and killed the farmers who protested in Perumanallur. The DMK party has done nothing good for the farmers and that DMK party has no right to talk about them. DMK is unwantedly talking ill about the AIADMK government and advised the public not to fall for it.

Stalin is trying to stop the Pongal gift of ₹2500 and a full sugarcane promised by the AIADMK government by saying that AIADMK party members are distributing the tokens. We don't need to know that, as the AIADMK government has always been working for the people and has given the public 1000 rupees along with free ration products for 8 months during difficult times.”

Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy then said that DMK party members go around sweet talking unbelievable schemes that are just used in propagandas and that they have never done anything useful for the welfare of the people of TamilNadu. He also said that DMK is ready to do any kind of stunts to win this election and warned people from getting fooled of trusting them and that the people should vote for the AIADMK party to get the best government rule in Tamilnadu.

The event also had important AIADMK officials like Pollachi Jayaraman, KN Vijayakumar and other party members.
