Coimbatore: Selvam (60) who hails from Sivanandha colony is an employee at a private car company. Both Selvam and Paulraj who was from Katoor rangan road met yesterday near Gandhipuram after being drunk.
Both Paulraj and Selvam argued on the road over a lost phone. Paulraj who was agitated during this argument took a screwdriver and stabbed Selvam multiple times with it.
Selvam who sustained heavy injuries was admitted at the government hospital was later declared dead after his treatments failed to work.
Katoor police officials have now filled a case against Paulraj under section 302 who is now in hiding.
