State secretary of CPI(M) K. Balakrishnan met with the press today at the district CPI (M) office in Poomarket, Coimbatore

Coimbatore: State secretary of CPI(M) K. Balakrishnan met with the press today at the district CPI (M) office in Poomarket, Coimbatore.

During the press meet K Balakrishnan said, Farmers are continuously protesting against the new agricultural reform act which is opposed by many political parties and the general public.

It really confuses me on why the central government is not taking back the act even after people rejecting it. He also said that the central government has been continuously involved in degrading the farmers everywhere they talk and that the central government is also imposing it's hindutva goals on other minorities in India. The central government has been imposing Hindi and Sanskrit for s long while now and this actually violates the power of the state government.

CPI-M state secretary Balakrishnan also said that the Tamilnadu government under the leadership of Edapadi Palanisamy has done nothing not even to claim their rights and are remaining silent to win the elections and to be back in power again. He also said that this is why the AIADMK party agreed to the passing of the new agricultural reform act.

Balakrishnan also said that the CPI-M is ready to meet people in every house of the state by dividing into 10 groups. He said that the CPI-M party members rally will go on from 25th to 31st of December.

Further speaking at the press meet Balakrishnan said that the Chief minister lacks humanity and that's why he did not agree in giving people 5000 rupees per month in the troubling times of Covid-19 when the general public are continuously facing with endless hurdles all these time but now has agreed to give 2500 rupees for pongal as the general elections are nearing.

CPIM state secretary Balakrishnan also said that people cannot be bought by money and that people are angry towards the alliance of BJP and AIADMK.

When a reporter asked him about Kamal and Rajinikanth's entry into politics, Balakrishnan said that Cinema is very different from politics and that all fans will not vote. He also said that is the reason behind Kamal Haasan's party is known as BJP's B team as they are only used to break any majority from happening.
