Fire accident due to gas leakage: Mother and daughter seriously injured while cooking
Coimbatore: Mother and daughter seriously injured while cooking due to fire accident due to gas leakage.
Komban hails from Machampalayam near Kuniyamuthur in Coimbatore. His wife is Sivamma (age 36) and his mother is Padma, (80). They were cooking on the gas stove at the time of the incident.
When the gas leaked from the cylinder while they were cooking the mother and daughter caught fire. Unable to bear the pain, the two screamed and hearing this, the neighbors rushed to put out the fire and the two were later rescued and sent to Coimbatore Government Hospital. Doctors are providing them intensive treatment to teh two. Kuniamuthur police have registered a case and are investigating.
